This is an amazing reproduction. I owned a very nice original in this color scheme which I sold to make the downpayment on my house several years ago. I had regretted selling that little guy ever since but it's like he was never gone now! This one naturally being new works even better (no jiggling of the wire needed to get him to run) but the action and sound seem identical to me, even the shade of pink for the plastic around the pistons seems dead-on accurate. The only minute variations between this and my old original were the wire to the remote was different (red and blue interwined wires instead of green) and the red might have been just a tad more maroon. But all and all this is one fantastic robot. If you don't have one trust me you will be thrilled plus the box art is fantastic. Robot was packed very well and arrived in perfect condition.
