I bought this wind up as soon as Robot Island let me know it was available. As far as I know, and I'm no expert, but I think this is the first tin WALKING wind up of the Lost in Space robot. That's the first thing that drew me buying this, the second thing was the sparking feature. The clear plastic dome that sits directly on top of the torso is what sparks and not the blue dome "head". The sparking action is really cool. I still think it's a good deal at $75. It's just not as solid of a wind up as Billiken or Osaka's stuff. I don't like how I read it has a limited production run...but there's no indication on the toy, the box, or any paperwork saying what numbered piece you have or how many were produced. Other than that though it's a really cool looking wind up and worth picking up...and this is coming from someone who is the furthest thing from a Lost in Space fan there is.
