A nice robot from Metal House. A unique plum color offsets the detailed, bright lithography. Classic styling, solid action and construction, and smooth operation make for a very nice piece. There is the obvious 'fun factor' of seeing the 6 pistons furiously pump up and down in the robot's chest cavity, however, there is something that is especially striking when watching this robot in operation. The light in the robot's chest that illuminates all of the action going on also sets off the radiant colors of the few brillantly colored plastic pieces that are within this mostly tin robot. This makes for a very captivating and luminous glow emanating from the Piston Robot. Good stuff!
