I've always wanted one of these and was quite delighted to see this available again after kicking myself when I missed out on getting one in the '90s.
Yes, he's expensive, but seeing him in motion makes it all worthwhile as you become mesmerized by the spinning antennas and the moving pistons awash in a pink glow as Robby goes on patrol.
I was very pleased with the quality as well. Details like the hefty and buttery-smooth on/off switch operation and the downright elegantly designed battery cover on each leg, slightly convex to match the overall rounded styling are a delight to experience.
Best of all the actions are robust and smooth. I am very happy to finally have a faithful representation of the Mechanized Robot in my collection.
