Robby is all tin construction and manufactured by Osaka Tin Toy Institute, the best of Japanese manufacturing. Each robot is crafted to perfection with beautifully lithographed box. Robby the Robot is admired as one of the most famous Sci-Fi Robots of all time since he first appeared in 1958 in the movie "Forbidden Planet". Robby is brand new condition mint and boxed from Japan.

this is my first osaka robot excellent quality.the paint job is perfect with a high gloss and not a blimish on it i am not a big fan of wind ups but the attention to detail is so great it makes a big difference. this is a very well constructed tin robot.it moves great with its moving parts and lighted mouth.plus the great art work on the box and the collecters card even the well made key has his name on it.oh dont forget the raygun. great windup robot thanks robot island.....

I just received my OTTI Robby The Robot in black. Wow! What an outstanding piece. The attention to detail and the action are superb. The accompanying card and Krell ray-gun really make this package interesting. Try and stop me playing with him! Thanks Robot Island~it's my new favourite!

I wanted to let you know that I was very pleased with the robot. The item was well packaged and undamaged. The box is very impressive, visually. The robot, itself, is an outstanding piece of craftmanship. The robot looks great and works wonderfuly.
