Mighty Robot wind up. Definitely one of the most ornate lithographed robots of the 1950's with his mask and depicted explosion on his chest. A/K/A the Racoon Robot because of his masked feature. Mighty Robot with sparking chest stands 8" tall including his antenna, and equipped with on/off switch on his back. This is the first classic reproduction windup robot being produced by Robot Island. We figured this would be a good choice, since not many originals exist, and even if you or I found one, the price would make owning such a wonderful Robot out of reach. Well, now we all can own a Mighty Robot.

Complete with original 1950's box graphics! Limited production of only 600 pieces. Each Robot is guaranteed to walk smoothly with strong sparking mechanism!

Just got mine today and couldn't be happier. I usually like a larger robot but even the size of this robot is in good form. It truly reminds me of the dimestore experience with the great quality lithograph. Through the red tinted chestplate you can see the mainspring, metal gears, a flint wheel, and a nice sparking action. Very well done.

Wowzer! All celebrate the return of the lithographed robot - and what a robot it is! If one were to choose which robot has the best lithography of all time - I'm sure this Mighty Robot would be at the top of most list. This is near impossible to find in it's vintage form, and if it is found the Mighty Robot certainly is out of most people's affordable price range. On top of that, this is a high-quality reproduction. All-in-all I think this is enough to even win over the hard-core purist who need 'originals' over 'reproductions'. From the acurate detail of the litho on the robot - to the original artwork gracing the box, this is perhaps the finest reproduction of a robot ever done. Bravo, Robot Island! This is a definite must-have for any collection! - Z-man
