Creature tin wind-up robot. Highly detailed 9" tall Creature from the Black Lagoon mechanized walking monster robot made in 1992 by Robot House. This is a licensed toy by Universal Pictures. Complete with certificate, metal key and beautifully lithographed box. Creature is part of a limited production series of 5 different robots produced in Japan.

I think this line of Universal Monsters is FANTASTIC!!! I'm a huge Creature from the Black Lagoon fan, so I was thrilled when I got this wind up. If any of you are familiar with Creature collectibles then you will know that there's alot of crap out there...and I do mean CRAP. I'm pretty hard to please when it comes to what I ad to my collection. This wind up, and the whole line for that matter, met and exceeded my expectations. The detail of the painting for the heads and hands is top notch, except for the mummy...he's lacking a little compared to the others. Even the boxes these come in look cool. I don't see how anyone could resist adding these to their collection. They are under priced for the quality, in my opinion.
