I just got this wind-up robby he is so cool looking for his size and comes in this nice looking box that opens up from the side.
Has great detail on the Robot. A very nice addition for the Robby collector.

Masudaya's plastic Robby the Robot wind-up followed their B-9 wind-up from Lost in Space. B-9 was originally called YM-3 and the box writing was in Japanese. After Masudaya obtained licensing from the show, the box was changed to B-9. The English language boxes were created when Rocket USA repackaged the robots.

Robby also has an English language box designed by Rocket USA. B-9 was largely silver color and lacked any detailing colors. Robby is all black except for his clear faceplate and silver antennae. However, both are extremely well made plastic wind-ups. Masudaya has consistently been a name to trust and these wind-ups are no exception.
