Mechanized Robby The Robot. Incredible reproduction of the original Robby the Robot by Nomura Japan. This version is made by Osaka Tin Toy Company of Japan and is identical to the original. Robby stands 13" tall and all functions work perfectly including mechanical walking action, lighted pistons in its dome and spinning antennas on both sides of Robby's head. A true classic design made by one of the finest manufacturers in Japan.

Seems i got the last one from Robot Island and in new condition. This is a great Robby the Robot so well built and i love the way the pistons move so fast and how he walks in a long circle with his antenna turning. This is one very well built Robby even the box is a classic in itself . Thanks again to Robot Island.

Wow, wow, and WOW!

I've always wanted one of these and was quite delighted to see this available again after kicking myself when I missed out on getting one in the '90s.

Yes, he's expensive, but seeing him in motion makes it all worthwhile as you become mesmerized by the spinning antennas and the moving pistons awash in a pink glow as Robby goes on patrol.

I was very pleased with the quality as well. Details like the hefty and buttery-smooth on/off switch operation and the downright elegantly designed battery cover on each leg, slightly convex to match the overall rounded styling are a delight to experience.

Best of all the actions are robust and smooth. I am very happy to finally have a faithful representation of the Mechanized Robot in my collection.
