Blue Thunder Robot. Exact replica of the 1960's tin toy robot made in Japan by Asakusa. A classic robot finished in striking metallic blue color. Incredibly unique design and complex actions make this robot a great collectible. This battery operated robot marches forward with spinning antenna and lighted eyes, then stops to raise his arms loaded with flashing lights and rat-a-tat sounds. Complete with fantasy box.

This robot really stands out among my vintage and (few) recent robot releases due to its enormous size and presence. The red and blue paint scheme is the most flawless I've ever seen on any tin robot, without even a hint of assembly damage to surfaces such as seen on (especially) vintage items.
Great care appears to have been taken in the manufacture of this item including the mechanicals.
Actions are great fun to watch, and the robot is very well balanced during the entire action and sound cycle. He really 'lights up a room' when run in darkness. Appears to be a very durable item and is recommended highly by the whole family!!
