Robby the Robot with Blaster by Osaka Tin Toy Japan. Incredible battery operated 13 inch tall Robby the robot highly detailed with multi-functions. Only 1,000 ever produced for the Japan Market. Robby is the most famous robot of all times; a true icon in the sci-fi world and originally appeared in 1956 in the movie Forbidden Planet.

Robby has mechanical walking action, light in his dome and voice tube, and also a special light on his chest. Piston valves bounce up and down and scanner rings spin on each side of his head. When Robby stops, his blaster light blinks with firing sound.

Robby is complete with a truly artistically designed box created by Steven Lewis Ryan.

This was the first Robby the robot i got it has such a smooth walking motion and the pistons go so fast as the center lights on blue and then he
stops and the arm starts to move with the blaster light going. After getting this one i have started buying more robots from Robot Island.
It has a show i call of sights and sounds. One very very cool robot to have.
